Free Debt Relief Package Terms and Conditions

  1. Program Details:
  • What is the program’s start and end date? 
    Deadline of entry: January 10, 2025 
    Announcement of recipients of the debt relief package: January 15, 2025 
  • What is the debt relief package or reward for the recipients of the debt relief package? 
    Debt Angel Solutions will provide debt negotiation and management services for free to 2 selected recipients of the debt relief package. Client shall not be charged the following fees: 
    • Onboard fees 
    • Monthly management fees 
    • Renegotiation fees 
    • Handback fees (if applicable) 
    • Settlement fees 

       

  • How many recipients of the debt relief package will be selected? 
    2 recipients of the debt relief package will be chosen 
  1. Debt Relief Specifics:
  • What type of debt will be covered by the debt relief package? 
    Debt Angel Solutions reserves the right to choose which debts to take on as part of the free services. 
    • Credit Card 
    • Personal Loan 
    • Mortgage 
    • Car Loan 
    • Payday Loan 
    • Buy Now Pay Later 
    • Flexi Loan 
  • Is there a maximum or minimum amount of debt that will be addressed? 
    Minimum total amount of debt must be at least $15,000 or more 
  • What services are included in the debt relief? 
    • Debt Assessment and Onboarding: Comprehensive review and onboarding of debt accounts to determine eligibility and strategy.
    • Customised Debt Management Plan: Developing tailored debt management plans that address individual needs and long-term financial goals. 
    • Money-Management Coaching: Personalised one-on-one coaching sessions to equip clients with the skills and knowledge for better money management. 
    • Creditor Negotiation: Engaging creditors to negotiate reduced interest rates, manageable payment plans, or partial/full debt waiver. 
    • Re-Negotiation Services: Revisiting and renegotiating terms with creditors as circumstances evolve to secure optimal outcomes. 
    • Offboarding of Debt Accounts: Upon finalising negotiations, we will offboard the account from our management, thereby revoking our authority to act or speak on the client’s behalf. This process ensures that all responsibilities are appropriately concluded. 
    • Handback of Debt Accounts: If we have done all the is required on a particular debt account or if the client chooses to take back management of their account, or if the client is out of communication and we are therefore not able to continue working on their account, we will return the responsibility of managing that debt to the client, adhering to our established handback process. This process thereby revokes our authority to act or speak on the client’s behalf and ensures that all responsibilities are appropriately concluded.

  1. Additional Services and Perks:
  • Will the recipient of the debt relief package receive follow-up services after the debt negotiation and management services have been finalised? 
    Debt Angel Solutions’ obligations to the recipients of the debt relief package end once the debt relief solution has been reached and finalised with their creditor. Up to this point, no fees will be charged for the services rendered. Upon completion of the negotiation, recipients of the debt relief package will also receive one post-program check-ins to see how they’re doing and how their life has changed as a result of the services rendered. If recipients of the debt relief package wish to continue working with Debt Angel Solutions through membership programs, the Freedom Shift Academy, or other services, regular fees will apply.   
  • Will the debt relief package be limited to a specific type of financial issue or offer a broad range of services? 
    The program is specific to the Debt Negotiation and Management Services offered by Debt Angel Solutions 
  1. Time Frame:
  • What is the time frame in which the debt relief will be applied? 
    Once the recipient of the debt relief package has been announced, the Onboard Process must be completed within 14 days.  
  • How long will the recipient of the debt relief package receive debt relief services? 
    We will continue to provide services free of charge for the debt accounts brought under management at the time of onboarding until the debt negotiations and management for each account is completed. Typically, debt negotiations are completed between 6-18 months.  
  • Are there any deadlines or specific timing for the recipients of the debt relief package to claim or start using their debt relief package? 
    The recipient of the debt relief package must agree to start the debt negotiation process within 14 days from the date of the announcement of recipients of the debt relief package and must complete the Onboarding Process on or before January 29, 2025. 
  1. Eligibility and Restrictions:
  • Who is eligible to participate in the program?
    The program is open to legal residents of Australia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. 
  • Are there any restrictions based on employment or affiliations?
    Yes, employees of Debt Angel Solutions, their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), and individuals living in the same household as any staff member are not eligible to participate. 
  • What types of debts qualify for the program?
    Eligible debts include unsecured personal debts such as credit card debt, personal loans, payday loans, and Buy Now, Pay Later obligations and secured debts, like mortgages and car loans, are also eligible. Business debts are not eligible. 
     
  • Is there a minimum amount of debt required to enter?
    Yes, participants must have a minimum total eligible debt of $15,000 to qualify for the program. 
  • Can the debt relief package be transferred or shared with someone else? 
    The recipient of the debt relief package cannot transfer the debt relief package to another person, however, if the debt account is under more than one name, both individuals can benefit from the free services.  
  • Can multiple individuals with joint debts enter the program?
    Yes, individuals with joint debts can enter; however, only one entry per person is permitted. Both parties must meet all eligibility criteria. 
  • Are previous clients of Debt Angel Solutions eligible to participate?
    No, individuals who have previously engaged Debt Angel Solutions for debt relief services are not eligible to enter the program. 
  • Can participants enter the program multiple times?
    No, each participant is allowed only one entry. Multiple entries by the same individual will result in disqualification.
     
  • What happens if a participant provides false information?
    Providing false or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification from the program and/or termination of the agreement. 
  • Is there a deadline for entry submissions?
    Yes, all entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEST on January 10, 2025. Late entries will not be considered. 
  • How will eligibility be verified?
    Selected recipients of the debt relief package will be required to provide documentation to verify their identity, residency, age, and debt amounts. Failure to provide any necessary documentation will result in disqualification.  
  • Are there any conditions that might disqualify a recipient of the debt relief package from receiving the full debt relief package? 
    • Failure to Provide Required Documentation: If the recipient of the debt relief package does not submit the necessary documents by the specified deadline. 
    • Submission of False or Misleading Information: If the recipient of the debt relief package provides information that is inaccurate or deceptive. 
    • Lack of Communication: If the recipient of the debt relief package becomes unresponsive, the company reserves the right to implement its established out-of-communication procedure. 
    • Inappropriate Conduct: If the recipient of the debt relief package engages in disrespectful, rude, or unprofessional behavior, or fails to maintain consistent and courteous communication with any member of the staff, the company reserves the right to disqualify the recipient of the debt relief package from receiving the full debt relief package. 
  1. Recipient of the debt relief package ‘s Obligations and Responsibilities:
  • What are the documentation requirements for recipients of the debt relief package?
    Recipients of the debt relief package must provide valid identification, proof of Australian residency, and documentation verifying their debt amounts within 14 days of notification. 
  • What happens if a recipient of the debt relief package fails to provide the required documentation on time?
    Failure to submit necessary documents within the specified timeframe will result in disqualification, and an alternate recipient of the debt relief package will be selected. 
  • Are recipients of the debt relief package required to participate in promotional activities?
    Yes, recipients of the debt relief package agree to provide testimonials and allow Debt Angel Solutions to share their debt relief journey on social media and other promotional materials. 
  • What if a recipient of the debt relief package refuses to participate in promotional activities?
    Refusal to participate in agreed-upon promotional activities may lead to forfeiture of the debt relief package, and an alternate recipient of the debt relief package may be chosen.
     
  • What are the communication expectations for recipients of the debt relief package during the debt negotiation process?
    Recipients of the debt relief package must maintain regular communication, attend coaching sessions, and participate in client review calls as scheduled. Lack of communication or failure to attend scheduled sessions without valid reason may result in termination of services and forfeiture of the debt relief package. 

  • What if a recipient of the debt relief package wishes to withdraw from the debt negotiation process?
    Recipients of the debt relief package may withdraw at any time; however, doing so will result in forfeiture of the debt relief package, and no alternative compensation will be provided. 
  1. Other Considerations:
  • How will the debt relief be delivered? 
    As part of the free Debt Relief Package, Debt Angel Solutions will: 
    • Develop a personalised debt management strategy 
    • Directly negotiate with creditors 
    • Secure long-term favorable outcomes for the clients 
  • Will there be any restrictions or limitations on how the debt relief package is applied? 
    • Debt accounts accepted will be limited to individual or personal debts 
    • Employees of Debt Angel Solutions, relatives of employees, or anyone who has previously used the service cannot be announced as recipients of the debt relief package 
  1. How to Enter:
  • What are the steps for entering the program? 
    Contest participants must fill out a form that: 
    • Answers personal questions and questions specific to their debts 
    • Submit a written or audio/video recording of their personal story that relates to their debt 
  • Is there a limit to the number of entries per person? 
    Each participant can only submit an entry once detailing all their debt accounts already. 
  • Is there a specific format or platform for submission? 
    Yes, click on the link to fill out the form and submit your aplication.
  1. Recipient of the Debt Relief Package Selection and Notification:
  • How will recipients of the debt relief package be selected?  
    After the submission period concludes, a panel will evaluate each entry based on the following criteria: 
    • Debt Situation: The severity and complexity of the entrant’s current unsecured personal debt. 
    • Eligibility of Debt Accounts: Verification that the entrant’s debts meet the program’s specified criteria. 
    • Submission Quality: The completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the required documentation and personal story. 
  • When and how will recipients of the debt relief package be notified? 
    Recipients of the debt relief package will be notified via email, phone call, and a public announcement will be made on social media. 
  • What happens if the recipient of the debt relief package cannot be contacted or does not respond within a certain period? 
    There will be a re-draw for an alternate recipient of the debt relief package to be selected. 
  1. Terms of Participation:
  • Will participants need to agree to any promotional or marketing use of their data or videos? 
    By entering the program, participants grant Debt Angel Solutions a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their submissions (including written, audio, or video content) for promotional purposes. This may include showcasing their journey or transformation on the company’s website, social media, and other marketing channels. Consent for this usage is included as part of the application form submitted during the application process. 
     
    If selected, participants will have the option to remain anonymous in any promotional materials if they prefer. This ensures their privacy while still allowing their story to inspire others. 
  • Are there any specific rules around how the recipients of the debt relief package’ journey or transformation will be documented or shared? 
    Debt Angel Solutions reserves the right to document the recipients of the debt relief package’ journey through video, photos, and written testimonials. Social media updates, blog posts, or other digital content may be shared to inspire others and raise awareness on alternative debt relief solutions and money management strategies. Any materials featuring recipients of the debt relief package will be shared only after receiving explicit approval. 
  • What permissions or consent are required from the participants? 
    Participants must provide explicit written consent to allow the use of their story, name, likeness, and any submitted materials for promotional purposes. Recipients of the debt relief package who prefer to remain anonymous may request that their identifying details be excluded from published materials. However, anonymity requests must be agreed upon at the time of entry. 
  1. Privacy and Data Protection
  • How will Debt Angel Solutions handle and store participants’ personal information?
    We collect personal information solely for the purpose of administering this program and providing debt relief services to the recipients of the debt relief package. All personal information will be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you can review here: Debt Angel Solutions Privacy Policy.
  • Will participants’ personal data be shared with third parties?
    Personal data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent from the participant, except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services (e.g., communicating with creditors).  
  • How will Debt Angel Solutions use the entries for promotional purposes?
    By submitting an entry, participants grant Debt Angel Solutions a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their submissions (including written, audio, or video content) for promotional purposes. This may include sharing stories on our website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials. We will seek explicit approval from participants before releasing any material that identifies them or discloses sensitive information. 
  • What measures are in place to protect the confidentiality of sensitive debt-related information? We recognise the sensitive nature of debt-related information and are committed to maintaining its confidentiality. Access to such information is restricted to authorised personnel involved in the program and service provision. We use secure communication channels and storage solutions to safeguard this data. 
  • What consent is required from participants regarding the use of their personal information?
    By entering the program, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as outlined in these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy. This includes consent to use their submissions for promotional purposes, subject to their approval for any material to be released concerning them. 
  1. Disclaimers and Liability:
  • What external factors might impact the success of debt relief negotiations? 
    Debt Angel Solutions cannot control or guarantee the actions of creditors, including delays, refusals to negotiate, or changes in creditor policies that could affect the debt relief process. 
  • What liability does Debt Angel Solutions assume for incorrect submissions?
    Debt Angel Solutions is not liable for entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, or submitted after the deadline due to technical errors or participant oversight. 
  • Is Debt Angel Solutions liable for legal or financial consequences related to debt relief?
    No, Debt Angel Solutions disclaims responsibility for legal or financial consequences arising from the debt relief process or changes in the participant’s financial standing. 
  • What happens if a participant’s creditor refuses to cooperate?
    Debt Angel Solutions will make reasonable efforts to negotiate, but creditor refusal or non-cooperation is beyond the company’s control and may limit the effectiveness of the services. 
  • Can participants seek legal recourse if dissatisfied with the debt relief services?
    By participating in the program, participants agree to resolve disputes through the outlined dispute resolution process, which includes internal review, mediation, and binding arbitration under the Commercial Arbitration Act 2010. Participants waive the right to pursue legal action against Debt Angel Solutions unless the arbitration process has been completed and no resolution has been reached.
  • Does participation in the program guarantee debt relief?
    Participation in the program does not guarantee debt relief or specific outcomes, as results depend on individual circumstances and creditor cooperation. 
  1. Legal Considerations
  • What liabilities does Debt Angel Solutions disclaim regarding program participation?
    Debt Angel Solutions is not responsible for any technical issues, including lost entries, incomplete submissions, or other problems that may prevent participants from successfully entering the program. 
  • What happens if a recipient of the debt relief package is later deemed ineligible due to undisclosed information?
    If a recipient of the debt relief package is found to have provided false or incomplete information, Debt Angel Solutions reserves the right to revoke the debt relief package and award it to an alternate recipient of the debt relief package. 
  • Can Debt Angel Solutions terminate or modify the program?
    Debt Angel Solutions reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the program in its sole discretion if unforeseen circumstances arise, including technical errors or legal constraints. 
  • What happens if a dispute arises about the selection or eligibility of recipients of the debt relief package?
    In case of disputes regarding recipient of the debt relief package selection or eligibility, the decision of Debt Angel Solutions shall be final and binding. 
  • Under what law will disputes related to the program be resolved?
    This program is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from this program shall be resolved under these laws. 
  • What guarantees does Debt Angel Solutions provide regarding debt relief outcomes?
    Debt Angel Solutions does not guarantee specific results from debt relief negotiations. The outcomes of debt negotiation services depend on individual circumstances, including creditor cooperation and the participant’s financial situation.  
  • Does Debt Angel Solutions assume liability for unsuccessful debt relief outcomes?
    Debt Angel Solutions assumes no liability if the negotiated debt relief terms do not meet participants’ expectations. Participants are advised to review all terms and conditions carefully before proceeding. 
  • Does Debt Angel Solutions accept responsibility for any financial or legal consequences faced by participants? 
    Debt Angel Solutions disclaims responsibility for any financial or legal consequences resulting from participation in the program or engagement with the company’s debt relief services. 
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • What happens if there is a dispute about the selection of recipients for the program? 
    Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of all terms, including dispute resolution procedures. If there is a dispute regarding the selection of recipients for the debt relief package, an independent third party will review the decision to ensure that the selection process adhered to the terms and conditions. To raise such a dispute, participants should contact complaints@debtangelsolutions.com. 
  • What should a recipient do if they have concerns about the process or procedures completed by Debt Angel Solutions? 
    If a recipient of the debt relief package has any grievances or concerns about the work being completed by Debt Angel Solutions, they should raise these concerns as soon as possible. Recipients can contact us via email, phone, or SMS. 
     
    Debt Angel Solutions will review the complaint under its Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) process and provide a response within 30 days of the complaint submission date. This response will include the outcome of the review and details of the recipient’s rights to escalate the complaint further if needed. 
  • What happens if a participant or recipient is not satisfied with Debt Angel Solutions’ response to their complaint? 
    If a participant or recipient is not satisfied with the response provided under our IDR process, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). This is a free service, and AFCA serves as a mediator between individuals and entities like Debt Angel Solutions to achieve a fair outcome for all parties.

  • What happens if mediation with AFCA does not resolve the complaint? 
    If mediation with AFCA does not lead to an agreement, an ombudsman will make a recommendation to Debt Angel Solutions on how to resolve the complaint. This recommendation is not legally binding, and Debt Angel Solutions reserves the right to object to the recommendation. 
  • What steps should a participant or recipient take if they disagree with the dispute resolution terms or feel their concerns remain unresolved? 
    Should mediation not yield a satisfactory outcome, the dispute may proceed to binding arbitration, where an arbitrator will render a final decision. This process ensures that all complaints are handled fairly and transparently, providing multiple avenues for resolution. 
     
    In New South Wales, the Commercial Arbitration Act 2010 governs such proceedings, ensuring that arbitration decisions are recognized and enforceable. 
  • Which laws govern the program and dispute resolution process? 
    The laws of New South Wales, Australia govern all aspects of the program and dispute resolution. 
  • Is legal representation allowed during mediation and arbitration? 
    Yes, both parties may have legal representation throughout the dispute resolution process. 
  1. Modification Clause
  • Can Debt Angel Solutions modify or cancel the program? 
    Yes, Debt Angel Solutions reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the program at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including technical issues, legal requirements, or other factors beyond our control. 
  • How will participants be informed about changes to the program? 
    Participants will be notified of any changes prior to the selection of the chosen recipients of the debt relief package via the official program website.  If any changes thereafter, the chosen participants will be notified through the contact information provided during entry.  
  • What happens to existing entries if the program is modified or canceled? 
    In the event of modification, existing entries will be considered under the new terms. If canceled, entries will be void, and no debt relief packages awarded. 
  • Are participants entitled to compensation if the program is altered or canceled? 
    No, participants are not entitled to compensation or reimbursement for any costs incurred. 
  • Can the terms and conditions be changed during the program? 
    Yes, Debt Angel Solutions may amend the terms and conditions. Participants are advised to review them regularly. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes. 
  • What if a participant disagrees with the changes made? 
    Participants may withdraw from the program if they disagree with the changes. Withdrawal must be communicated in writing. 
  • Will changes affect already selected recipients of the debt relief package? 
    Modifications will not affect recipients of the debt relief package already selected before the change, unless required by law or to protect the integrity of the program. 
  • How will disputes arising from modifications be handled? 
    Disputes will be resolved per the dispute resolution process outlined in the terms and conditions. 
  • What is the governing law for modifications to the program? 
    The program and any modifications are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. 
  • Can participants suggest changes to the program?
    Participants can provide feedback, but Debt Angel Solutions has no obligation to implement suggestions, although we welcome any feedback.
